About Us

WES MARSHALL BSc (HONS) MCSP SRP 

Wes is a chartered physiotherapist who, since graduating from the University of Hertfordshire in 1998 has worked in both the public and private sectors. He has worked in the NHS as a neurological and orthopaedic physiotherapist before becoming a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist.

Wes also spent ten years with Ipswich Football Club, working with both professional and academy players. This involved injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation in addition to covering matches and training sessions.

Wes is also the creator and inventor behind Epiphany Innovations Ltd, a new therapy, rehab and exercise product development company.

Rachel Stevens BSc (HONS) MCSP

Rachel has worked within Physiotherapy in the NHS since 2004.  She qualified from the University of Essex in 2009 and has since worked for East and North Herts NHS Trust, specialising as a Senior musculoskeletal Physiotherapist since 2013.   She has a wide knowledge of rheumatalogical, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions for persons of all ages, including specialist knowledge and treatment of hand conditions and injuries.  She has also qualified in Alied Foundation Acupuncture in 2013.

Barnaby Stubbs 1st Class Honours Degree, BSc Sports Rehabilitation, 2.1 BSc Honours Degree Physiotherapy

Barnaby is a recently qualified Physiotherapy graduate from the University of Essex who also studied Sports Rehabilitation at the University of Bradford. This passion for sports recovery is further complemented by Barnaby's Personal trainer qualification.

Over time Barnaby has provided physiotherapeutic treatment to a range of clients including high-level professional athletes competing in the EFL Championship. Throughout his time studying Barnaby has developed an in-depth holistic approach to help individuals reach their life and sports goals thoroughly and successfully. Barnaby now specialises in sports injury recovery in both the upper and lower extremity and thrives in caring for clients undergoing various operations such as hip replacements/knee surgery. Furthermore, Barnaby is also able to physically prepare individuals undertaking sporting competitions such as marathons or golfing events at any age. 

Sam Ryan VTCT Level 3 Diploma Sports Massage Therapy CYQ Level 3 Diploma Personal Training and instruction (QCF)

Sam has been working as a Personal trainer since 2012 and has built a large and varied client base, helping individuals reach their health and fitness goals safely and effectively. Looking to develop and improve upon his anatomical knowledge and services offered to his client base, he has since completed his Sports massage course in early 2019 with Sports Therapy UK. 

Sam has provided sports massage treatments to a wide range of individuals with specific requirements. Including general aches and pains, pre/post contest preparation/recovery, deep tissue/myofascial release, trigger point therapy and various stretching techniques. Now working in parallel with Wes Marshall at Herts physio this offers an expanded potential treatment plan for clientele.
